Express Passenger 2002

  • 2014 Chevrolet Express 15 Passenger Van Is The Dual Carrier

The 2014 Chevrolet Express 15 Passenger Van is capable of moving a great number of people (up to fifteen) and/or moving a lot of cargo (285 cubic feet of space to work with).  There are some newer vans that can outdo this vehicle in terms of interior space, but none of them can match the overall hauling capability of this van.  Additionally, this van has the option of all-wheel drive as well.  It can even be easily turned into a rolling workshop.

When this van was created, its exterior looks was not the primary concern.  With that said, Chevy did add some nice touches to it, including truck-like wheels, rounded corners, and taillights that sit higher up on the body, giving it a more distinctive look.  The grille is what really sets it apart from other vans; in fact, the grille looks similar to those on Chevy’s large pickup trucks.  There are many options to make getting in and out of this vehicle much easier, including split or sliding swing-out side doors, as well as split rear doors that have windows or are windowless.  Some useful features to make this van even more convenient include a roof-rack cross-rail, a roof-mounted ladder lack, and mud flaps.

The standard interior is what you would expect from a large van: A whole lot of room and just two bucket seats in front.  This makes it handy to haul a great deal of equipment.  However, to make it more convenient and comfortable to transport people, Chevy offers useful options such as additional seating, carpeting, rear air conditioning, and Bluetooth.  To more easily reach the rack-mounted tools inside without venturing into the van itself, there are optional flip-up access panels.  New with the 2014 Chevy Express: Five-passenger seating that involves a bulkhead partition separating the 2nd-row seat from the cargo area.

The 2014 Chevy Express comes standard with a V6 engine, air conditioning, manually operated mirrors, and a step-up rear bumper.  Additionally, you get dual front airbags, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, and stability control.  Side-curtain airbags ensure that all passengers in the first three rows are protected in an accident.  Optional upgrades include four different types of V8 engines, a rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, and the latest OnStar version.

You have several choices of engines based on your hauling needs.  If you don’t do much heavy hauling and prefer to conserve your fuel, the standard V6 engine will serve you well, as it can give you 15 mpg (city), 20 mpg (highway).  Note, though, that the 195 horsepower of this engine is really only efficient to light to moderate loads, so if you do a great deal of heavy hauling, one of the V8 engine upgrades would probably be best for you.  The 6-liter V8 engine upgrade can give you 324 horsepower, while the ultra-powerful 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine can give you 525 lb-ft of torque.

The 2014 Chevrolet Express Van can carry up to 15 people at a time and or can carry a great deal of equipment thanks to its sizable 285 cubic feet of space.  New to this model, you can carry up to five passengers that can be sectioned off from the cargo hold.  Thus, it can easily handle the dual role of carrying a good number of passengers and equipment at the same time, making it an ideal vehicle for a business with multiple offices nearby.  Add in such useful options as Bluetooth connectivity, power windows, sliding side doors, split rear doors, and flip-up access panels, and this van can do the heavy-duty work you need done.
