Ford 15 passenger van is called the Ecoline, past years name plate, or E350. This model comes in a variety of trims and options to drive anybody a little crazy. But don’t fret; I will explain them for you.
The trims are lined up like this…

Power for this Van:
“The E-Series engine options include a range from 4.6L V8 to 6.8L V10 SEFI engines, some with flex-fuel capability. For maximum towing power, upgrade to Class I or Class II/III/IV Trailer Towing Packages and add the available Integrated Trailer Brake Controller. On this van comes also tire pressure monitoring system while the panic alarm and keyless remote entry are optional.
Another optional feature is Ford’s “Keys – SecuiLock® Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS)!
The SecuiLock® Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) is designed to help prevent the engine from being started unless a coded key programmed to your vehicle is used.”
You can also get your own alarm system installed on this van if the one provided by Ford is not enough for you.
During my research I noticed that the Ford 350 comes with two different front grills. One comes with a chrome grill while the other is just a plain black painted grill. If I were to buy this van I would pick the chrome one. It looks nicer and the huge grill impaired from the F150 Series crabs attention.
As mention before, the E350 Extended comes standard for 15 people but you could also get it with just 14 passenger capability. There is also a livery option! To make your long drive more comfortable, the 2012 model comes with cloth captains chair/arm rest for comfort and convenience.
There is even a trailer package for those who plan to pull heavy stuff. You can also pick alternator type that comes in this van. Two are offered…a 155-amp heavy duty amp alternator and a 255-amp heavy duty
Peace of Mind and Assurance:
- A more than capable 4.6L V8 engine
